Draeger DefendAIR

The DefendAIR is designed for protection against toxic gases (including nerve agents, blood agents, tear gas) that may be encountered by emergency response personnel.  The hood is easy to use and can be applied in less than 10 seconds.  Other challenge agents that the DefendAIR has been tested against include Sarin, DMMP, Cyanogen Chloride, Carbon Tetrachloride, Phosgene and Sulfur Dioxide.

The Draeger Safety C420 PAPR

Provides a constant, filtered airflow of between 115 and 140 lpm to the users facepiece thus providing user’s with a higher safety factor due to positive pressure in the mask.  Unlike many unsealed commercial PAPR’s, the C420 can be effectively decontaminated of NBC agents and other toxic industrial chemicals. The C420 Blower is air-tight and waterproof (with the three protective port caps properly installed) and may be fully submerged for decontamination. In addition the batteries may be “hot-swapped” during use in a warm zone environment. The battery compartment is air-tight, waterproof and decontaminable. Draeger Safety’s NIOSH C420 Complete System Consists of: C420 Blower, LiSo2 Battery, Breathing Tube, Decon Belt, Airflow Indicator, Two M95 Cartridges, and Promask 2000 Full Facemask.

The Dräger Multi-IMS is a portable ion-mobility-spectrometer to pick up even traces of chemical warfare agents.   Because of it’s compact design, the extreme robust enclosure and the light weight of less than 800 grams (28 oz.) it is ideal as a personal measuring and warning device, or a monitor for surveying after an event.  Keystone of the Multi-IMS is a ion-mobility-cell, based on the proven open-oopion-mobility-spectrometry, with significantly increased sensitivity and selectivity.
