Draeger BAcomm Lapel Mic

The BAcomm communication system has been expanded with the new lapel microphone radio interface. This arrangement allows the fire fighter to remove their SCBA, unplug the earspeaker from the lapel microphone and continue to utilize their radio.  The earspeaker now plugs directly into the lapel microphone.  Once attached the lapel microphone acts as the system push to talk.  The lapel microphone has both side and front Push To Talk buttons, volume control and a man down button.  When disconnected from the earspeaker it functions as a normal lapel microphone.

New Style SCBA Duffle Bag

This black Cordura nylon bag is padded on all sides except the top. A cord connected double zipper pull on the top allow for easy storage and removal of equipment. Located on one of the short ends is a large pocket for smaller items. Double handles and a shoulder strap are included. This bag will carry the Draeger logo on the pocket side.

4-Pull Nomex Hairnet

This 4-pull hairnet type head harness utilizes Nomex material rather than Kevlar mesh which aids the hairnet in maintaining its shape without stretching. The 4-pulls allow the user to quickly don and tighten to provide an excellent seal. The hairnet is both NIOSH and NFPA approved.

In addition to providing the highest level of protection for non-CBRN applications, such as fire and hazmat response, Draeger’s enhanced second stage regulator or lung demand valve (LDV) is designed to protect the user from a variety of CBRN threats, including liquid chemical warfare agents, biological agents and alpha and beta particles.   

 The enhanced CBRN LDV was designed for the highest level of protection as well as simplicity of use.  Because of its unique design, upgrading currently fielded SCBA’s will be quick and easy to carry out.  In seconds, the user will be able to upgrade an existing Draeger SCBA by simply replacing the LDV with the newly enhanced CBRN LDV. 

 
Multi-Link Auxiliary Airline System

Draeger now offers a 20-inch and 40-inch line length on the new Multi-Link Auxiliary Airline System offering increased versatility and safety. Attaching directly to the first stage reducer the new, Multi-Link system features a unique easy to use Y piece with a female and male CEJN fittings. This unique configuration allows rapid connection to either an airline source i.e. RIT pack or in extreme cases to another Multi-Link Auxiliary Airline. A Nomex pouch is provided with the system and attaches to the waistbelt for convenient storage and easy retrieval.

Draeger RIT Lifeguard

When air supplies are critical Draeger’s RIT LifeGuard Emergency Air Supply System supplies 30, 45, or 60-minutes of air for immediate rescue. The RIT LifeGuard is lightweight, portable and uses a fire resistant bag. To protect the cylinder from damage, the bag is padded along its length. Large, deep pockets provide convenient storage for a facepiece, second stage regulators, door wedges and other tools needed for extraction and rescue. “D” rings located along the top and bottom of the LifeGuard bag provide an attachment point for an additional rope storage bag, while the carry handle expands into a shoulder strap for hands free carrying. A 3-foot airline hose is provided for easy attachment to a downed fire fighter/victim.

Rapid Adapter

Rapid Adapter plugs into the mask allowing the wearer quick and easy use of air purifying filters with their SCBA mask. This simple adapter permits the user to switch easily from positive pressure to negative pressure applications with one mask

Spectacle Kit

Spectacle frames are available for fullface masks.  Frames are easily installed into the mask without any tools.  Frames are large enough to accommodate bifocal lenses. Metal frames (left) are for Panorama masks, plastic frames (right) are for Futura masks.

Hairnet

Both Panorama Nova and Futura full face masks can be fitted with a hairnet. The five point harness assures a good fit and allows for easier donning and doffing. Available in both kevlar for fire fighting applications and nylon for industrial use

Carrying Case (Soft)

A soft-sided duffel bag with shoulder strap, this bag is perfect for transporting an SCBA.

Carrying Case (Hard)

A bright orange case is highly visible and prevents damage to the SCBA. Wall mounting kits are available.

Auxiliary Airline Connection

This medium pressure line connects to the first stage pressure reducer and allows connection to airlines and pass-through devices in Level A suits. This can also be used for LDV (lung demand valve) connection or for connection between two SCBA units with a medium pressure connection hose for Buddy Breathing.

ChargAir™

ChargAir allows the wearer to recharge cylinders without removing them. Dräger's  patented connection enables filling in IDLH environments. ChargAir is not a transfill system. It incorporates a check valve that allows air flow into the cylinder only. This safety feature prevents the loss of air through the ChargAir line in the event of accidental severance

Medium Pressure Connection: Extension Hose & Pouch

A 40" extension hose is used in Level A suits to obtain a comfortable connection between the pass-through and the auxiliary airline connection. The hose can also be used to provide a connection of two SCBA units. When not in use, the extension hose can be stored in the easily accessible pouch, fitted to either the backplate or waist belt.  Available with 2 male or 1 male/1 female fitting to suit all requirements.
