Draeger NFPA PSS Series SCBA Buddy Breather (UEBSS)
Buddy breather design ─ lets you connect SCBA to another SCBA, LDV mask mounted regulator or RIT Bag without cross filling cylinders, preventing potential loss of air in case of damage to cylinder or high pressure system.
NOTE: This is the new standardized buddy breather connection for NFPA 1981, 2018 edition that all other manufacturer's must now use the Drager design.
The Draeger Buddy Breather is Hassle Free and works whether you connect Male to Female or Female to Male Fittings

There are numerous ways to utilize the Draeger Universal Buddy Breather (UEBSS) for Firefighter Survival
A RIT Bag with a Medium pressure supply hose can be connected to
- 1 Firefighter via Chest Regulator Quick Disconnect Fitting
- 1 Firefighter via Buddy Breather Line
- 2 Firefighters that were Buddy Breathing and are interconnected
